Marina Sand Dunes

I really enjoy living in this area because we can walk to the Ford Ord National Monument in 10 minutes and drive to the sand dunes and beaches in 15 minutes! Charles and I have hiked through the Marina Sand Dunes several times. Each time, depending on the time of the year, they look differently to us--all beautiful and amazing.  Most recently, on January 18, 2015, we parked at the end of Lake Court in Marina, and hiked on the sand dunes for more than an hour. Then, we decided to slide down to the beach, and walked on the beach for while. It was a beautiful day!
